Fanta
Packaging
F&B
Self-Initiated Conceptual Project
When Fanta unveiled its new logo, it instantly felt bolder, fresher, & unapologetically fun. The visual shift sparked a question for me, if the logo has evolved this much, why shouldn’t the packaging carry the same peppy energy?
This project was initiated as a creative exploration to reimagine Fanta’s packaging system through a more playful, character-driven lens, while staying rooted in the brand’s existing language.

Idea & Approach
The core idea was to translate flavour into personality. Each variant was treated as a character, illustrated to reflect the emotion, attitude, and vibrancy of the flavour itself. The goal was not to redesign the brand, but to amplify its spirit.
Illustrated custom characters inspired by individual flavours
Maintained alignment with Fanta’s bold colour palette and graphic language
Focused on energy, motion, and youthfulness to match the new logo’s tone
To bring the concept alive beyond static visuals, I also directed my team to create short, punchy animations that showcased how the packaging could behave in motion, especially in presentations, digital campaigns, and social-first formats.

Execution
Character-led packaging illustrations
High-contrast, playful compositions
Micro-animations to enhance presentation and storytelling
Concept visuals designed for scalability across cans, bottles, and digital touchpoints

Outcome
The final output stayed true to Fanta’s brand DNA while adding an extra layer of fun and freshness. The project received strong appreciation across social platforms and was noticed by several industry-recognised professionals, making it one of my most rewarding self-initiated explorations.
This project sits close to my heart, not just for its visual playfulness, but for what it represents: curiosity, brand empathy, and the joy of pushing a good idea a little further.
